Dr Harvinder Kaur is a specialist gynaecologist and fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. 

She is a graduate of the University of Melbourne medical school and undertook her obstetric and gynaecology training in tertiary and peripheral centres in Victoria, Queensland and the Northern Territory. This has given her a wide range of experience in the health issues of women.

During her training, she obtained the Crown Street Medal for best original research presentation on dyspareunia (painful intercourse). She has completed a two year fellowship in advanced gynaecological laparoscopy at the Royal Women’s Hospital Melbourne.

She performs laparoscopic surgery and has a special interest in pelvic pain, endometriosis, adolescent gynaecology, menopause, menstrual bleeding disorders, abnormal cervical screening and family planning. She consults privately in the OGCG rooms in North Melbourne and has a regular operating list at Frances Perry House. Dr Kaur also works as a consultant at The Royal Women’s Hospital Gynaecology 2 Unit (Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain) and the Menopause After Cancer Clinic.
