Build Your LGBTQIA+ Awareness at Work

Learn how to respectfully work with LGBTQIA+ folk in your role and team
Selling Fast

Empower yourself to have a greater understanding of the LGBTQIA+ community to become a more aware and respectful team member or leader

LGBTQIA+ rights have come a long way in the past decades, and the 2017 plebiscite granting same sex marriage rights is seen as a watershed moment in Australia’s journey to become more inclusive of the community. However, the challenges faced by this community as a whole are still very much a part of their daily lives. So how often do these challenges surface in our workplaces? Are our leaders and team members unintentionally creating harmful and unsafe places for LGBTQIA+ folk at work? Do you understand the difference between sexual orientation, sex characteristics, gender identity and gender expression? How can you go from naive assumptions to a clear understanding of this fabulous community and how we can better include its members in our organisations?

The Hatchery has partnered with the nation’s leading LGBTQIA+ inclusion organisation to deliver a half day online seminar intended to give you a strong foundation of knowledge about how to respectfully work with and engage LGBTQIA+ folk at work. Don’t miss this opportunity to deepen your understanding of this vibrant and incredibly diverse community and learn to apply skills to build your LGBTQIA+ awareness at work.
