Bernadette Cronin is the General Manager of Student Engagement at Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools. She is an educator with over twenty five years experience, with a focus on engaging young people in purposeful learning and building meaningful pathways through and beyond school. At MACS she has responsibility for leading the development and implementation of the Flourishing Learners: Vision for Engagement as well as the real time support of students in relation to behaviour, inclusive education, and health and wellbeing.
Prior to working at MACS Bernadette was at the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA) leading work on the Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning, the Victorian Department of Education in policies and programs and a variety of secondary schools as a history teacher and school leader. Bernadette has a Masters in Education (Curriculum) with a focus on engaging adults in middle years education and a Masters in Educational Leadership (Literacy) with a focus on policy and programs for literacy intervention in middle years learning.
