Ian brings over 13 years of experience in education, with a significant portion dedicated to leadership roles. Currently, he serves as the Director of Professional Learning at Arndell Anglican College, a position he has held since 2020. In this role, Ian has spearheaded several whole-school initiatives, notably developing a leadership model to guide the training and development of educational leaders within the College.
Prior to this, Ian was the Head of History and Legal Studies at The King’s School, where he demonstrated his expertise in curriculum development and departmental leadership. He holds a Master of Educational Leadership and is in the process of completing his PhD, focusing on strategic leadership within educational organisations. Ian’s contributions to the field have been recognised with the ACEL New Voice Scholarship in 2023.
