Dr. Jacqueline Huber is an Emergency Psychiatrist at St Vincent’s Hospital and the founder and Chair of the Australian and New Zealand Emergency Psychiatry Network. She is currently completing her PhD in Emergency Psychiatry at The University of Sydney, where she focuses on models of care and treatments in the Emergency Psychiatric field. Dr. Huber has authored several papers and book chapters, reflecting her commitment to improving care for individuals facing mental health challenges in emergency settings. She recognizes that collaboration between Emergency Department (ED) and Psychiatry staff is vital for effective patient care and is dedicated to fostering better communication and teamwork in this area.
