Jane Lin

Jane Lin is the Executive Director of Data, Strategy & Performance at Hospitality & Racing NSW, where she leads strategic transformation across the division. Her portfolio spans data strategy, regulatory capability, strategic planning, project governance, and stakeholder engagement—driving a high-performing, future-focused regulatory culture. Jane joined the NSW Government in 2022 as Executive Director of Regulatory Operations at Liquor & Gaming NSW. There, she led the implementation of a risk-based regulatory framework across the liquor, gaming, wagering, lottery, and casino sectors. She also recently spent time in the role of Executive Director for 24-Hour, Screen & Sound, establishing operations and coordination across the Office of the 24 Hour Economy, Screen NSW, and Sound NSW teams. Prior to her public sector leadership in NSW, Jane spent two decades in regulatory enforcement, policy, and intelligence roles at the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC) and Ofcom, the UK’s communications regulator. Her career reflects a deep commitment to evidence-based regulation, strategic insight, and public value.
