Darian Brooker is a foster care leaver, psychology student, TEDx speaker, and the founder and CEO of We, Future Leaders – a youth-led education and mentoring organisation assisting students from pre-school to university to reach their full academic and personal potential. Motivated by her experiences, she envisioned a world where all students could be heard, valued and adequately supported, no matter their circumstances.

Darian now leads a team of 50 who work with a range of students weekly on a 1:1 and small groups basis within her learning centre, online, and within schools, including young people in out-of-home care or with a care experience. We, Future Leaders is also partnered with Westmead and Randwick Ronald McDonald House Charities to provide our services to young people who have missed large amounts of school due to hospitalisation. We, Future Leaders, have supported thousands of students across NSW to date and aim to positively impact 1 million Australian youth by 2040. Darian is an active board member of ‘Southern Industry Forum’ and The Youth Partnership’s ‘Work Placement Reference Group’, proudly supporting local business and student work placement opportunities.
