Anne Burgess is Chair of the Aged Care Council of Elders and Chaired the Aged Care Transition Task Force. She is also a member of the National Aged Care Advisory Council.

She Chairs the Board of Aged Rights Advocacy Service in South Australia (ARAS) and is Deputy Chair of the national Older Persons Advocacy Network (OPAN). She recently resigned after 12 years as Deputy President of COTA SA and Chair of their Policy Council.

Anne has a long history at Executive level in Government in South Australia in roles including Commissioner for Equal Opportunity, Director of Mental Health and Director of Office for Women. She currently serves on Boards, Tribunals and Committees relating to ageing, health, mental health and social justice.
