Jeffery Amatto is a proud Wiradjuri man from Wellington, New South Wales, and an award-winning advocate, presenter, and community leader. Drawing on his lived experience of incarceration, addiction, and growing up in regional New South Wales, he has dedicated his life to uplifting others facing similar struggles.

Jeffery is the founder of the Yindyamarra Men’s Healing Group and more recently created an Aboriginal Community corporation called More Cultural Rehabs Less Jails Aboriginal Corporation.

Through these organisations, he works tirelessly to create pathways of healing and opportunity for Indigenous men across Australia.

A passionate advocate and presenter, Jeffery has travelled more than 350,000km delivering workshops across the country, sharing his inspiring journey of grit, strength, and resilience.

His work highlights how recognising the value of lived experience can drive meaningful change.

He continues to focus on advocacy, program development, and community delivery, while championing the need for greater funding for Indigenous-led organisations.
