Hanan Dover is a senior clinical and forensic psychologist. She founded Mission of Hope, pioneering mental health programs for the Muslim community in Australia. Within Mission of Hope, Hanan has led culturally safe and responsive programs such as Hayat House and Hayat Line and recently led the first Men’s Behaviour Change Program for culturally diverse Muslim men called Islah Circle, and, more recently, developed Hayat Circle – the first 12-step weekly AOD program for Muslims. Hanan is also the conference convenor of the Australian Muslim Mental Health Conference.
