The Hon Julie Bishop began her trailblazing public career as Member for Curtin in 1998. Ms Bishop was Australia’s first female Minister for Foreign Affairs and the first female Deputy Leader of the Liberal Party, a position she held from 2007 to 2018. Recently she has become the Chancellor of the ANU, spoken out about issues affecting women in the public sector, and has even been honoured with her own Barbie doll!

She has been on a wide range of boards, providing advice to organisations engaged in driving the national football agenda, promoting engineering in universities, inspiring the future of fintech, supporting innovation in government, providing inclusion and access to technology in Africa, and is currently a Non-Executive Director at REA Group.
