Andrew Baylis has been working in education for just over 40 years. He started teaching Physics in the Catholic sector, then moved to the Independent sector for many years, changing roles through Head of Science and Director of Curriculum.
Andrew has taught briefly in the state sector in UK (GCSE and A levels) and has now been at Melbourne Grammar School for 10 years. He holds the position of Director of Learning and Research which enables the exploration of modern ideas in education and how they can be transferred into effective classroom practice.
Andrew has a Science degree (Chemistry major with a minor in Statistics) a Graduate Diploma in Education and a Master in Educational Management. He is particularly keen to share ideas across schools and sectors so that we can all learn from and with each other.
