Elisabeth Duursma is a Research Theme Fellow at Western Sydney University/TeEACH Research Centre. Her research focuses on child language and literacy development, parenting, and the role of fathers in child development. She has conducted extensive research in the area of fathers and book reading and has worked with disadvantaged populations, including fathers in prison. Elisabeth holds a PhD in Human Development and Education from Harvard University and previously worked in the U.S. and the Netherlands.
