Hayley is a Yidinji/Mbar-Barrum woman from FNQ who is employed with the Department for Child Protection in South Australia as a Practice Leader. Her role aims to drive excellence in child protection practice and support social workers to achieve optimal outcomes for children, young people and their families. While Hayley is passionate about safety for all children, she is particularly passionate about improving outcomes for Aboriginal children, young people and families and has devoted her career to trying to make a positive contribution in this area.
