Jason Gordon is a proud Barkindji man from Bourke in NSW. Jason is currently Executive Director Operations at NSW EPA. Previously he worked in the DPE Water Group and Transport Cluster for 8+ years where he held various senior role’s . Prior to working in the State Government he ran his own business for a couple of years and also spent 20 + years in local government with various Councils around the state, his last role being CEO/General Manager of a regional council.
Jason’s career objective is “to continue to work in the Public Sector at Senior Management level with an innovative employer that values delivery of quality services to an engaged community. To live with my family in the community where I work and strive to be able to make a difference to that community through my work and personal contributions”.
Jason has a Degree in Civil Engineering with First Class Honours, a Masters Degree in Business Administration, a Masters Degree in Commercial Law, and a Masters Degree in Planning. He is a Qualified Mediator and also a JP. Jason is a Qualified Powdermonkey.
Jason is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors Course and a Fellow/Engineering Executive Member of Engineers Australia. He also carries out assessments for Engineers Australia for members wanting to progress to Engineering Executive status and/or Fellow status.
Jason is a member of the College of Leadership and Management for Engineers Australia and UTS Design and Architecture Faculty.
