Jason is Ahpra’s National Director of Cosmetic Surgery and Compliance. The Cosmetic Surgery Enforcement Unit was established in response to the independent review into the regulation of medical practitioners who perform cosmetic surgery. The unit manages all cosmetic surgery related notifications and all advertising issues related to regulated health practitioners.
Jason also leads Ahpra’s Compliance function which is responsible for monitoring health practitioners with restrictions on their registration.
Prior to joining Ahpra, Jason was a senior manager at the Civil Aviation Safety Authority following multiple roles as an Air Force officer.
