Juanita is a proud Mithaka woman raised on Wiradjuri country. She is extremely passionate about the work in the NSW government and how it can benefit Aboriginal people, with Aboriginal people and culture being the centrepiece of all work. With almost 31 years in the NSW Public Sector Juanita has held a number of positions in both operational and strategy/policy roles including with NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service and Heritage NSW. Juanita holds a Degree of Applied Science and is also a recipient of a National Medal.
