Kevin is the Director of Queensland Health’s Office of Hospital Sustainability. In this role, Kevin provides strategic leadership and oversight for initiatives to improve the health system’s environmental performance, reduce the impacts of health operations on the environment, and foster resilience in the face of a changing climate.

Kevin began his public service career with Queensland’s Department of the Premier and Cabinet where he gained valuable experience in whole-of-government policy research and implementation.

Motivated by his interest in the health sector, Kevin moved to Queensland Health in 2016, taking up strategic policy roles, working on a range of issues including NDIS, aged care, health funding and capital planning, and strategic asset management. These roles have given him with good knowledge of the operational aspects of health services, and a strong foundation for the emissions mitigation and adaptation work he now leads.
