Kirstin Butcher is the Founder and CEO of Genvis, the Australian public safety technology company behind the Milli personal safety app. With over 20 years of experience building and running businesses across Australia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, and Canada, Kirstin established Genvis in 2017 with a mission to transform public safety through survivor-centred design and scalable technology. In 2018, she conceived and led the first Safe with Milli Pilot, reshaping how frontline services respond to and support survivors of gender-based violence through co-designed digital tools. The program is now active across more than 50 organisations in Australia and Canada. She is a WA Business News 40under40 winner and WA finalist for Australian of the Year (2022).
