Lakshmi is the Manager of Ngartuitya Family Group Conferencing at Relationships Australia South Australia. Lakshmi lives, works, and plays on beautiful Kaurna Country, and had the fortunate upbringing of being raised strong in Sri Lankan Tamil community, language, and culture. With a background in Psychology, Social Work, and experience in the Department of Child Protection, Lakshmi has provided leadership and mentoring across RASA for ten years in the children services. Her role as manager is to look after the operational elements of the NFGC team with a focus on optimising child-centred and family led relational processes, implementation of evidence-based frameworks with high fidelity, developing and sustaining multiagency partnerships, and strengthening transparency and data accountability to the community.
