A proud Jarowair, Wakka Wakka & Wulli Wulli woman with strong family ties to Southeast Queensland who grew up on Darug Country in Western Sydney.

Larisha has an extensive background working in banking, health, coaching, and government (Indigenous Affairs) and not-for-profit sector, specialising in women’s health and women’s community legal services in the financial abuse prevention unit. Her dedication and passion for the work she does is driven by the inspiring girls and women she meets every day on their paths to creating financial prosperity for generations to come.

As First Nations Foundation’s Manager, Women’s Economic Empowerment and Business Education. Larisha aims to redress the economic injustice that Indigenous women face, empowering them to achieve financial wellness and economic independence. Her role has led to immense personal and professional growth, opening doors she only dreamt of as a child. Larisha is also a Self-Concept and Mindset Coach focusing on self-concept and mindset motivation.

Motivated by her family, community and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander girls and women, Larisha finds great reward in hearing their stories and being a part of their learning experience. Her career highlight to date has been leading First Nations Foundations’ Rich Blak Women initiative & Hosting her podcast Rich Blak Women, developed with the vision of long-term financial prosperity for all Indigenous Australian women, and intergenerational wealth transformation across Indigenous families and communities.
