Lisa Harvey-Smith, CEO, Out For Australia
Lisa Harvey-Smith is the Chief Executive officer of Out for Australia and a Professor of Practice at the University of New South Wales. As the former Australian Government Women in STEM Ambassador (2018-24), she was responsible for diversifying Australia’s workforce in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). Harvey-Smith has served on numerous Australian Government advisory groups including the Australian Space Agency and Questacon. Harvey-Smith is an astrophysicist who previously held research leadership roles at CSIRO. Harvey-Smith is an author of astronomy books for adults and children, which are published worldwide.
