Born, raised and still living on Yalukit Willam Bik (Country), Luke Isaacs is a Wadandi (salt- water) Nyungar custodian from the South West of Western Australia and is a proud member of the South West Aboriginal Land and Sea Council and the Karri Karrak Aboriginal Corporation, Traditional owner group.Â
For the past 18 years Luke has developed his experience and expertise in cross-sectional engagement at a Federal and State Government level working across a range of First Peoples policy and program portfolios. He has been part of significant cultural change and organisational transformation through the Victorian Governments commitment to self-determination in the areas of climate action, housing, economic and community development, family violence, and sport & recreation. Â
 Combining his community engagement and government experience with his appreciation of and respect for everyone’s voice, Luke is passionate about creating positive change through Aboriginal self-determination and First Peoples ways of knowing, being and doing.Â
