Marina GAICD MAICD is the President and Chair of AUSCL Australasian Society for Computers and Law – a think tank focused on promoting the achievement of UN Sustainable Development Goals at the intersection of law, innovation and policy. Admitted as a solicitor in Australia, New Zealand and the UK, Marina’s clients include Fortune 500 companies and has held senior in-house/regional roles within several global corporations, including Philips ANZ, BlueScope Steel, Luxottica and two of Australia’s Leading research and teaching Universities. Marina has a true innovator’s mindset and thrives in purpose driven multidisciplinary teams.
Her leadership roles include: Board member – IFCLA (International Federation of Computer Law Associations), Advisory Board Member – Allens Hub for Technology, Law and Innovation, Former Board Member IAPP International Association of Privacy Professionals ANZ and the Being Charity. Marina is the recipient of multiple industry awards both within her profession and in recognition of her contribution to the broader innovation eco-system.
