Melina Saunders is a proud Wiradjuri and Gunditjmara woman who is passionate about empowering Aboriginal people to build capacity in their own communities. With over 15 years’ experience working across the public and private sectors she is committed to bringing a values framework based on cultural authenticity and trust. 

Outside of her professional career, Ms Saunders, has extensive Board and Committee experience. She is a Director of the Western NSW Primary Healthcare Network, a position she has held for over five years and was a part of the Netball Australia Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) Working Group for four years. Ms Saunders has a strong sporting CV which also includes being a high performance netball athlete, coach and mentor.
