Michelle Buckland is a Registered Nurse and Midwife currently employed as Nurse Manger, Governance, Risk, Audit and Disaster in the busiest Emergency Department in Australia, Gold Coast University Hospital. She has completed the International Humanitarian Assistance Course at Fordham University in New York. And enjoys working collaboratively with many members of our healthcare facility and with other government and no-government agencies Working in governance and risk can sometimes be quite difficult as we often see the negative side of health care but this is counteracted by her work during the Week of Schoolies on the Gold Coast.
