Paul works as an Education Officer with the Toowoomba Catholic Schools Office. His main roles include working collaboratively with members of the Teaching and Learning Directorate and other relevant key role holders to develop and deliver policy and strategic directions in Senior Secondary for Toowoomba Catholic Schools within the broader context of the Teaching and Learning Directorate Strategy and providing expert advice on Senior Secondary teaching and learning within Toowoomba Catholic Schools Office and schools based on contemporary research, system and school data and through professional relationships with relevant experts and associations.
Paul has a passion for quality teaching and learning and has spent his professional career developing the skills needed to assist others to develop best practice pedagogy.Â
Paul has completed tertiary study at the Masters level in Professional Research (looking at how best to ensure that meaningful professional development actually becomes real professional learning in teachers) which has ensured a strong understanding of how professionals learn and the development of a proven process for implementing change in schools.
