Professor David Geelan is National Head of School of Education at The University of Notre Dame Australia with responsibility for campuses in Sydney and Fremantle. He has worked in teacher education in Papua New Guinea and Canada as well as in Western Australia, Queensland and New South Wales, and has presented extended teacher professional learning activities in Philippines and South Africa. He is a past president of the Australasian Science Education Research Association and past national chair of the Australian Council of Deans of Education’s Network of Associate Deans of Learning and Teaching in Education (NADLATE). David is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a Fellow of the Australian College of Educators.
