Jeannie Paterson is a professor of law and director of the centre for AI and digital ethics at the University of Melbourne. Jeannie’s teaching and research focuses on safe and responsible AI in citizen focused interactions. In 2024, Jeannie was a member of the Cth AI Expert Group. She is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Law and an affiliated researcher with the Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision-making and Society
