As the Executive Director of The Men’s Project (an initiative of Jesuit Social Services), Rachel works with a team committed to providing leadership on the reduction of violence and other harmful behaviours prevalent among boys and men. Rachel is part of a team of researchers and practitioners seeking to understand how the attitudes and beliefs of Australian men and boys influence their use of violence, and what programs and practices work to shift harmful gender norms and engage men and boys in violence prevention.

Rachel has two decades of experience in management, innovation, research, strategy, and design. Prior to joining The Men’s Project, Rachel has worked for McKinsey & Company, the United States Congress, and the innovation arm of Australia Post. She is passionate about using data to understand and guide human behaviour, and co-authored a report on climate change abatement which won the Eureka Prize in 2010.
