Ratu Nida Farihah

Ratu Nida Farihah is a lived expertise consultant, author of Homecoming: The Art & Practice of Trauma Recovery, speaker, and founder of Women’s Lantern, a survivor-led social enterprise supporting migrant and Southeast Asian women rebuilding after domestic, family and sexual violence.
Her work sits at the intersection of coercive control, gender-based violence, migration, cultural identity, psychosocial safety and storytelling. As both a survivor advocate and consultant supporting trauma-informed & culturally safe engagement, Ratu believes lived experience is not just a story to harvest. It is an expertise to respect, resource and embed in decision-making, so it can shape policy, practice and systems; not simply decorate the room.
