Renee Ronan is a proud Whadjuk Ballardong woman with a deep commitment to culturally grounded leadership and self-determination. Growing up in small country towns throughout the Midwest and Wheatbelt regions, Renee& lived experience of both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal heritage has shaped her passion for truth-telling and relationship-building. She is dedicated to fostering leadership that is rooted in cultural identity, strength, and resilience.

With extensive leadership experience in child protection and community services, Renee has been instrumental in developing and implementing culturally safe programs that elevate the voices of Aboriginal people. She is a strong advocate for values-based leadership, ensuring that governance and decision-making are informed by cultural protocols and the wisdom of community knowledge holders. As a leader, Renee works collaboratively with stakeholders, seamlessly building relationships that support transformational change. She actively facilitates culturally safe spaces for learning, reflection, and strategic action, helping First Nations leaders navigate challenges while remaining grounded in culture.
