Rhonda Murray, EPA’s Chief Investigator leads the Environmental Crime Branch of 40+ investigators. Rhonda, an accomplished Victoria Police detective moved onto Government fraud investigations where she has led numerous investigation teams and branches. A standout achievement was when she led a Taskforce investigation with the Australian Federal Police and public sector investigators into organised crime infiltrating the National Disability Insurance Scheme that resulted in conviction and significant jail time.

Good regulation is more effective when working with others to address jurisdictional gaps/overlaps and developing better practice. Rhonda will share her experiences with establishing inter-agency forums to tackle and disrupt crime networks.
