Roj Amedi is the Director of Policy, Advocacy and Communications at Women’s Legal Service Victoria and Working Women’s Centre Victoria, where she leads law reform, strategic advocacy, fundraising and public communications to advance gender equality and drive systems change for women and non-binary people experiencing disadvantage. An experienced executive leader across advocacy, social justice policy and movement‑building, she has held senior roles at organisations including GetUp, Justice Connect, the Foundation for Young Australians and Colour Code, and has made a sustained contribution to Australia’s cultural and human rights sectors. Roj is widely trusted for her evidence‑based approach, her capacity to lead with confidence in ambiguity and build strong alliances across government, philanthropy, business and community sectors.
