Sharika is a lawyer with 15 years of extensive project and policy experience in the public sector. More recently, she has worked predominantly in the family violence space at Victoria Legal Aid, including as acting Associate Director, Family Violence Response and overseeing the implementation of best practice legal service delivery at the new Specialist Family Violence Courts. 

She is also a non-executive director on the Board of Anchor, which provides homeless support, foster care, kinship care and community education in Melbourne’s Outer East.  

Sharika is passionate about addressing systematic disadvantage and inequality within the legal system. In her spare time, you will find her hanging from an indoor rock wall and saying hi to your dog.
