A/Prof Simon Stafrace is a Fellow of the Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP). He is Program Director of Mental & Addiction Health at Alfred Health in Melbourne and Clinical Adjunct Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Monash University.
His clinical interests include emergency psychiatry, addiction health, psychological trauma, and family & systemic therapies. In 2020-22, he was Chief Adviser at the Victorian Department of Health, contributing to the Royal Commission into Victoria’s Mental Health System and its implementation.
He is currently Chair of the Community Collaboration Committee of the RANZCP, which brings the voice of lived experience to the College’s policy, education, and advocacy work.
