Tamara has been a community engagement specialist for over a decade.  Tamara’s focus is on building community engagement capacity in local and federal government and to empower communities to create sustainable change. Tamara’s passion is to centre community ideas at the heart of the decision-making process and to ensure that safe and accessible engagement opportunities are available for everyone.

Tamara is currently the Director of Community Engagement for the Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability, a role that enables her to connect with communities across Australia to shape meaningful and inclusive pathways for change.
