Prosecuting regulatory offences: How to ensure your briefs of evidence are court ready
A regulator’s role is to not only establish that a breach or an offence has occurred, but to ensure the evidence obtained and collected can be admitted into court and the conduct or offence proven. This workshop will delve into comparisons between conventional civil and criminal proceedings, standards of proof, strategic information gathering, disclosure obligations and compilation of briefs.
