In this session, hear from fearless legend Former Detective Superintendent Deborah Wallace who has delved into the dark underbelly of crime investigating and dismantling some of the State’s most feared gangs. Throughout a stellar career spanning more than 37 years in the Force Deb commanded a range of Specialist crime squads bringing order to the wild west of 1990s Cabramatta and busting criminal bikie gangs with Strike Force Raptor. Deb will address the approach Strike Force Raptor took in relation to disrupting and disabling outlaw motorcycle gangs through legislation, regulatory compliance and traditional policing approach.In 2019 Raptor received an International Investigation Award for the best approach in tackling omcgs. Hear from Deb on her early career journey, leveraging cross-agency collaboration, how navigating bureaucracy and taking an operational focus has successfully delivered outcomes.
